The loves of my life...

This cutie patootie turned ONE last week! How quickly time has gone with him... and I have adored every minute! I have been in no hurry for him to grow up, because after having three others, I realize how quickly it goes by! I remember when Ashton was a baby I turned his car seat facing forward before his first birthday. I was so excited about him learning to crawl and walk. With Ryder I still have him facing backwards in his car seat,  he is still nursing often and I almost cried when he crawled and walked. Don't get me wrong, I think it's the cutest thing ever to watch him learn new things. I love seeing him wobble around and point to things as he learns. I love hearing his throaty voice say new words like "ma ma, da da, ca (car) and bye" But it is bittersweet... because he is growing up way too quickly!!  This kid is ALL BOY! He loves cars and balls. He is quite skilled at kicking balls around our house. He is going to be a soccer player! He is a little mommy's boy. And I LOVE IT! He loves to snuggle and give me slobbery kisses. I love my morning snuggles with little mr. I love how he passionately ripps my hair and face off and pinches and bites me. I am just obsessed with this cute, chubby little guy. He is perfection!!

Little Miss Mazzi Pants is almost 5. She is our easy going, yet feisty little child! Matt and I just think everything Mazzi does is adorable. I don't know what it is about her, but shes just so dang cute! I think she has us both charmed and gets her way nearly always. Yet for some reason does not seem too spoiled. But maybe she is?! She is tough and logical. She is a very happy girl... but when she is mad, she is really, really mad! She is kind of famous for her dirty looks! Mazzi almost always asks to stay up late with me or sleep in my bed. One night when she was being rude to me she still  asked if she could sleep with me. I told her "No, because you are being mean to me." She looked and me said "But I am sorry, and I love you." She thought that should be the end of it. Needless to say, she slept in her room that night! She is famous for saying ," but I want whatever I want." Cracks me up! We all do kid!! She loves to sing in the car and around the house I love to hear her sing Katy Perrys song, "Roar."  She is constantly coloring and creating pictures for her little friends. She is quite the social little girl. She loves playing computer games and watching backyardagins, sophia the first or peter rabbit.  She is losing her baby teeth (she tells me they're wiggling) also makes me sad! Why do they have to grow up so dang quick?! Love you my little ray of sunshine!

Tera- 8 years old. Don't let this sweet, beautiful face fool you! This one keeps us on our toes and praying for patience!!! We love our little Tera!  She can go from sweet as can be to very angry in a second! I have fond notes in her room that say "Go away Mom. You are mean! I am never coming out because of you!" I have also found the sweetest notes in her room that say "Your the best mom ever. I will never leave you. I have a heart that will always love you." So basically- she is a girl! Emotional!  She has so many friends at school and is always on perfect behavior at school and church. I have teachers always tell me she is their favorite! Everyone really thinks she is the most perfect child ever. And sometimes she is!  I love anytime I get one on one time with Tera to practice piano, scrapbook, shop for clothes or play a game. Tera is a master tetherball player! She plays for hours a day She is involved in everything at school! Choir, photography club and drill team. She also does gymnastics. The other day we were having a conversation before bedtime and Tera asked Matt who he liked the most. Matt said he loved us all hte same but in different ways. Tera said, "Oh, like you love mom in the kissy, kissy way?" She always makes us laugh with how her cute little brain works. She is such a sweet sister to Ryder (and Mazzi when she wants to be). She is a super sweet, super cute girly girl!

My Ashton, just turned 10! He is such a creative, fun kid. I love his energy (usually-  sometimes, its exhausting!) I love his negotiations skills and his logic. He is still a master planner and builder. He is obsessed with good food and money. He is always ready to make a plan and has a great sense of humor. Ash is still doing Tae kwon and is a ____ belt. He is a powerful kicker. He is such a good brother to his sisters and to Ryder. He protects them and watches out for them. He loves to play with Ryder. He is a good friend to others and is very thoughtful when it is anyone's birthday or any type of celebration. He likes to make a big deal out of occasions. Even the cats birthday! He still loves video games and watching tv. His favorite video game is currently minecraft and he is having a minecraft party in just a few days. Ashton is self sufficient. He has been able to make his own meals since he was four years old and he continues to cook himself some breakfast. Usually cup of noodles, corn dogs or something else not healthy... but still he just gets it done!  He is a special kid who is very aware of other peoples feelings. I feel honored to be his, and all my children mother.
