Witch Party

I had a fun time hosting the 2nd annual Lake Elsinore Witch Party.
We made cute candlestick crafts, ate yummy soups, salads, rolls and deserts, and played silly games.
Thanks for coming girls! Feel blessed to have so many great friends in my life.
(Even though sometimes you all can really be witches!)

37 weeks pregnant...

I am full term, and feeling oh-so-done!!
I literally feel like a ticking time bomb in that at any moment I feel I could go in to labor. It could be today, or it could be three weeks from now (if they let me go a week over- in which case I will be one unhappy lady!)

I am at that point where I am uncomfortable, it hurts to bend, my back aches, my ligaments ache, I get up to pee at least six times a night, I only have a handful of shirts that will cover my belly, and I just feel huge and swollen.

I know it will all be worth it, and I can't wait to meet this little guy! I love him already... but please come here sooner than later little Ryder!

Tera's Witch Party

When Tera learned I was having a Witch party with my girlfriends, she asked me if she could have her own witch party. I really didn't want to do another party... I feel like I just did her birthday party and my boutique party and had my witch party, (a baby being born) Ashtons party, Mazzis party and Christmas right around the corner... but what can I say.... I am a succor!!

We threw together a little party for her and a few friends and just had theirs the day before our grown up witch party. She had a great time! (Still not sure if it was worth it though.... is anything at 37 weeks pregnant worth it?)

They decorated witch hats out of waffle cones

 Played candy corn toss,
 And ring the witch hat,
 Ate some snacks,

And danced around to Halloween music.

So, there you have it. Tera, in case you ever doubt my love for you, just know that I love you enough to use up precious energy throwing you and your buddies a witch party when its about the last thing I want to do! :)

Soccer!

We finally joined the world of soccer! Matt's been wanting Ashton to play for a few years, but with tae kwon do and him not wanting more to do, we hadn't done it. This year we finally committed and he is on a team with his buddy Kade. Most of the kids have been playing for a least a couple years, so Ashton is playing catch up and we are trying to get him to be aggressive and go for the ball. After three games and several practices, I think he is getting the hang of it. And I love watching him play!

I love the intense look on his face as he's running down the field! Ashton doesn't care if he scores goals, or if he even kicks the ball. All he cares about is his team winning. It's cute to see how excited he gets over any good move his team does. Go Earthquakes!

Oak Glen with Mazzi

A few weeks ago Mazzi's preschool went on a field trip to Oak Glen to pick apples as they completed their unit on apples. We had a nice, laid back time spending the morning there with some of her preschool buddies. Her and Mckynlee wore their matching outfits.

Awwww.... Maui

We went to Maui September 4th-11th. We bought tickets back in March (literally the day after we found out I was pregnant) But, we had been saving for tickets and looking forward to it, so we went ahead and did it. While there were a few things I would have liked to have done that I wasn't able to do being pregnant, it was still awesome to go to Hawaii seven months pregnant. I got to relax and hang out with my hubby and some awesome friends for a weeks straight, in a beautiful place. What more could one ask for? No laundry, no cooking, no cleaning , no homework with whining kids, no chauffeuring kids to and from activities... it was pure bliss! It was hard to go back to reality after!

Here we are on a beach right across the street from the condos we stayed in at Keihi.

The Hannons
And the Nelsons joined us from Boston. (After only living there two weeks- it was still nice to be reunited with them!)

Before going to a comedy/magic show, "Warren and Annabelles" in Lahina. It was a fun show...

At the Old Lahina Lua. It was a fun night, filled with traditional dancing, though we decided it is just too weird seeing some guys move their hips and see that much of their upper thigh! We had yummy food and pina coladas, and were happy the rain stopped so it didn't pour on us through the evening.

We enjoyed the Road to Hana. It was an all day driving event of winding roads, but we were surrounded by gorgeous scenery along the way. There were several areas you could stop and just hike a few minutes before seeing pretty falls. The boys and Melissa jumped off the falls. I cheered them on!

And of course while we were there we enjoyed many snow cones! Clint I belive had an average of two a day.
And then we said goodbye- sadly! It was great to see the kids when we returned, but after I day... I was ready to go back!
